Apron measurements, the chef jacket size chart, how to tie an apron up as a vest, and how to wash everything so the snaps last.
Aprons: one size, adjustable
All apron bodies are one size and fit most adults: the neck strap adjusts with a metal slider (or the cross-back straps slide through side loops), and the ties are long enough to wrap around and knot at the front. Choose the length that suits your work.

Chef jackets: size chart
Unisex fit. Measure your chest at the fullest point, under the arms, and pick the size whose range includes your measurement. Between two sizes? Take the larger one for layering.

Short-sleeve jackets (J02, J07) have the same chest and length measurements.
Tool belts and sleeve guards
- Tool belts adjust from about 70 to 125 cm waist (Workshop Tool Belt 75–130 cm; Barista Hip Belt 72–120 cm hip).
- Sleeve guards have covered elastic at both ends and fit most adult forearms. Long guards are 38 cm, short cuff guards 20 cm.
Vest mode: how to tie it
- Unsnap any modules below the waist rail you want to keep in reach, and snap them to the bib rail.
- Fold the skirt of the apron up towards the waist rail.
- Take the ties behind you, cross them, bring them round to the front over the folded skirt and knot them.
- On cross-back aprons, pass the ties through the strap loops first so the vest holds its shape. The Convertible Vest Apron (A20) also snaps its hem to a second snap row.
Care
- Unsnap all pocket modules before washing. Wash them separately in a laundry bag.
- Machine wash at 40 °C with similar colours, inside out. Dark and saturated colours may release colour in the first washes.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry on low, or line dry. Line drying keeps the canvas flatter.
- Iron on medium heat, avoiding the metal snaps.
- Tool belts: hand wash or machine wash at 30 °C, line dry.
Snaps work best when they are pressed straight on and pulled off by the orange tab rather than by the pocket itself.
